Refund Policy:
No refund
will be given after skill testing date, the only
exception is if son is selected to high school team. Otherwise to receive a
refund, the president must be contacted by phone (770-815-7430)

14-year old travel team tryouts for West Cobb Rays, the manager is Ollie Schniederjans (Phone: 678-361-4460) will be held August 16th & 30th (Saturdays ) - 4:00pm to 6:00pm

3-4 travel ball players ( major )
2
pitchers (with infield or outfield skills)
1 catcher (could be the primary! but you need to be very good)
1 second basemen (could be the primary! but you need to be very good,
some additional SS skills would be great)

Dizzy Dean has instituted a drop 3 bat rule effective for the upcoming 2009 season. Each bat shall be: at the thickest part 2 5/8" or less. Length 36" or less. Weight: A bat shall not weigh numerically more than 3 ounces less than the length of the bat, (ex. a 33" bat cannot be less than 30 ounces.). This is for all age groups !!

The West Cobb Baseball Association plays out of
Big Shanty Park at 2050 Kennesaw Due West Road NW in Kennesaw, GA (30152) adjacent to Kennesaw Mountain High School. Our
baseball program is for ages 13- to 18-year olds.
Big Shanty Park has 4 baseball fields. Fields 1 and 2 are 54/80 and Fields 3 and
4 are 60/90.

If traveling North I-75. exit at the Chastain Road exit (Exit 271) and
turn left (West) and go 2.6 miles and turn right (NW) onto Cobb Pkwy NW (US
41/SR 3) get in the left lane and go 0.36 miles and turn left (SSW) on to Kennesaw Due West Rd NW.
Big Shanty Park will be on the left about 0.85 miles, just before Kennesaw Mountain High School.
